Falkland Islands Process Tank Replacements

It was an absolute pleasure to be involved in this international project!

Echo Square Services Ltd were recently contacted by a water treatment plant located in Stanley, the capital of the Falkland Islands in regards to the tank replacement of eight GRP process tanks which had begun to delaminate and required replacing.

The eight GRP process tanks are used for mixing chemicals such as Chlorine, Aluminium Sulphate, Sodium Carbonate & Polyelectrolyte which are used throughout the the water treatment plant.

All process tanks were bespoke manufactured to the exact specification required by our client.

This also included coating them internally with a chemical resistant coating to give them long term protection against the corrosive nature of the chemicals they will contain.

All eight process vessels were then packed securely onto a lorry and sent to Southampton docks, from here they were then placed in a container and set sail to the Falkland Islands where the process tanks will be installed by Stanley Islands water treatment plants own onsite engineers.

We manage a large residential block and recently reached out to Echo to quote to reline two water tanks that were failing. An absolute fantastic service all round. A quote was received within a day or so. Works were booked in and communication was excellent. We were really impressed with the engineers on the day. They communicated well on the day in terms of the plan of action. Once the work was complete, they ensured all areas were left clean and tidy. I contacted Echo Square on behalf of a client of mine who urgently needed her Victorian underground Cistern re lined. The work was quoted for promptly and the work carried out to a high standard by the engineers who were courteous and friendly despite their long drive to site. My client was very impressed and so grateful to have her Cistern back in working order.
