This water tank relining project was carried out during out of hours over a weekend on the behalf of a water hygiene company for a school in Redditch.
The potable water tanks existing coating had begun to delaminate subsequently causing them to be non-compliant with ACOP L8.
Our operatives completely removed the failed coating and manually prepared the galvanised steel substrate prior to applying two coats of our WRAS approved polyurethane coating ES 988 DWPU
We also fully refurbished the cold water storage tanks lids using our polyurethane coating
The cold water storage tanks were then disinfected upon completion of works prior to being filled and put back into service.
